How Anchor enforces policy on Egnyte stored Anchored content:
Valid user sessions: The end-user must have a valid Anchor account to use the Anchor features provided by our integration with Egnyte.
Valid users may: Access Anchored files and interact with content based on their specific user permissions (i.e. Anchor, unAnchor, Share, Open, View Logs) in protected folders assigned to their specific user roles. The format for the protected folder is: \\egnytedrive\<your-egnytedomain>\shared\documents
User management for Egnyte: Users can be added to the Anchor platform by simply adding them to a user role. If you add a user to a user role and they are not part of Anchor, they will then be added to the Anchor platform. Users can only be added if they belong to a valid email domain (which is maintained in the default user role). Admins will have the ability to edit valid email domains.

Anchor errors: Anchor will present actionable errors to users. Users may experience the following common errors with our Egnyte integration.
User permissions: Users will be denied actions and presented the following error should they attempt an action that they have not been configured to use. Examples: Anchor, unAnchor, Show file access logs, Share. Anchor administrators may change these permissions within the Anchor dashboard. More information can be found at:
Authorized file extensions: Defined in the Anchor dashboard users will only be able to access files with specific file extensions. Refer to the link below for more information.
Disabled users: Disabled users will not be given access to Anchored content. Users will be presented the following message after they have been disabled in the Anchor dashboard. This can be managed by Anchor administrators. For more information please refer to the following - How to re-enable a user in the Admin Dashboard click the link below
