Anchor is a platform that provides protection and control of files stored on Egnyte. It enables organizations to encrypt files with one click and associate access rules, including geofencing. Anchor enforces those access rules within the organization, as well as on shared links, via strong encryption. It also provides media for smooth and secure consumption of most file types. Authorized users can seamlessly view and edit files, as files always remain encrypted on Egnyte, even during consumption. Anchor generates real-time file access logs which details all access, including answers to the questions who, when and where. It also provides the ability to instantly revoke access for any user or group. Anchor supports a wide range of file types, such as MS Office, pdf, image and video files.
